Caramelized Banana Mug Cake

If you love a classy dessert that’s full of protein and whole ingredients, this is the recipe for you! I’ve been craving bread, but I only had one banana left so this seemed like a good compromise.

For this recipe you will need…

1/3 cup of oats

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Orgain)

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 banana

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of oats

  • 1 scoop vanilla Orgain protein powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 banana (you can caramelize the rest of the banana!)

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking soda

Directions

  • Preheat oven to…oh wait this is a microwave recipe lol 😉
  • Add all ingredients to a small blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a small greased ramekin and microwave for two minutes on high.
  • Slice the rest of your banana and caramelize them on the stove with a just a bit of cooking spray.
  • Once the mug cake has cooled, take it out of the oven, remove it from the ramekin, top with bananas and enjoy!
